くじらがしゃべるっていう。
1984年にRidgwayさんが発見したものを約30年たった今、他の研究者たちがrecordingを公開したらしい。（by metro）

くじらの種類。ちなみにいるかとクジラって同じ系統なのか？いくつかのwebだと同じってあるけど～
イシイルカ：北太平洋。1960～70年代は6000頭/yr捕獲されていた。現在は17700頭/yr in Japan. IWCの管理下にないので捕獲が増えたみたいだ。一応政府の資源調査に基づいているみたいだけど。
コビレゴンドラ：tropicalなこ。熱帯～温帯。これもIWCの管理外。
ミンククジラ：500頭/yr for research

ザトウクジラ
セミクジラ
ニタリクジラ
ホッキョククジラ
シロナガスクジラ：地球上最大の動物。鯨油の原料として激減。
って感じでいっぱい種類あるみたい。。。

there are various kinds of Disney character and the topic is quoted by journalist or author.. as a blubbermouth , Willie the Whale was referred by "metro". so i guess in UK
there might be vogue about the Willie the Whale among ppl. Is it too simple assumption??
One of amzing things in UK is quality of free paper.
In Japan, ホットペッパー is one of free papers, but there are almost advertisement.
Surely, there are many ad at "metro" , but there are some good interesting tale like "the whale".
maybe "content" of interesting is different btwn JP and UK.
